We have finally returned home to Lemon Tree Passage. May I commend you and your company for the professional manner you were able to facilitate the delivery of my 2 new Lithium batteries to Port Pirie in SA during July 2021.
May I commend you especially for your assistance in this matter. Due to Covid lockdowns, delivery issues etc, we found ourselves far from home with a difficult problem. You overcame these problems, as we learnt how to be patient living in our van with the issues, at our advanced ages. Without your diligence and communicative assistance our outcome could have been problematical.

Battery System Upgrades with Hitec Batteries
We are travelling around Australia in our 24ft Leader Palladium caravan and 200 series Toyota Landcruiser.
The caravan is approx. 6 years old and we are the second owners.
On our shakedown trip to South Australia the 3 x 100AH AGM batteries failed making off grid camping difficult.
After discussing our issues with Dean Thompson from Hitec Batteries an upgrade solution was reached.
Ditch the 3 x 100AH AGM’s and replace them with 2 x Pylontech 100AH Lithium Batteries.
This meant we could reduce weight and cost by only having 2 batteries and have more useable power from the 2 x Lithium’s.
This upgrade required the replacement of the old charging system as it was not compatible with the new lithium battery technology.
The most useful part of this setup is the availability to monitor the charging systems and solar via Bluetooth on my phone, this feature is great. I was able to diagnose an issue with the
12volt breaker on the inverter circuit. By opening the app on the phone and running the microwave I found the breaker was tripping at 56amps (100amp breaker), replacing the existing breaker with a new one fixed the issue.
